Posted by wicksncandlesticks
I came up with several ways to save money with your bridal gown, so if you haven’t purchased your wedding dress yet, be sure to read this list! The ultimate goal here is to save you money.
Purchase Your Bridal Gown through the Mail
JCPenneys, Dilliards, and Chadwicks are all great places to find wedding dresses sometimes they are discounted up to 20-25% off. I would even check their clearance sections as well. Find any coupons you can apply to the purchase as well.
Order Online with a Internet Discounter
I found a few good bridal stores and I will list them here.
Net Bride- Bridal Dress for 30-40% off Most Designs!
RK Bridal – Upper End Couture Bridal Line with a discount, but you have to call to get their prices.
PearlsPlace- Couture Bridal Line with a discount, but you have to drive there to get that 20-30% off discount. However, if you are in or near the state of Louisiana, I would recommend that you stop on by their bridal store and see what they have to offer.
E-Bay
E-Bay is a great place to find discounted wedding dresses and you can find just about anything wedding related!
Bravo Bride
Discover why BravoBride is the place to buy and sell Inexpensive Wedding Ideas, Inexpensive Wedding Favors, and Affordable Wedding Gowns. Brides there are some EXCELLENT finds on this website!
David’s Bridal
Brides can get reasonably priced wedding dresses and bridesmaids dresses at David’s Bridal that start at the $450 range, however, they do offer the Sales and Outlet. I have seen wedding dresses as low as $100.00 dollars (see wedding dress in photo from Davids Bridal.
My last piece of advice, be sure you haggle your prices down if you can, it never hurts to ask!

Special words of wisdom for the bride »

I would definitely add to talk to brides in your area on wedding sites and ask their opinions. I was going to go to David's but heard raves about a place about 2.5 – 3 hours south of Indianapolis that was a hole in the wall boutique in a small town. My dress was GORGEOUS, and perfect for me… and under $400. Sometimes the ones in your "city" areas are expensive just cause they can be- small town shops can be a budget-saver!
