“It’s the most wonderful time of the year…”  Yes, it certainly is!  And I’m so excited to introduce myself to you!  I’m Elisa – the owner of A Flair for Affairs.  I’m also known as the ‘Countess of Consulting’. {smile}  My company is based in Orlando and I have been planning events and coordinating weddings for quite a number of years.  I’ll spare you the long list of credentials since you can learn more about me by visiting the A Flair for Affairs website and our Fan site.

Engaged couples today are so lucky!  My own wedding took place over 20 years ago literally before internet, wedding blogs and wedding coordinators even existed!  Lucky for me I worked in the industry or I would’ve never known how to pick a vendor or communicate my expectations.  Of course I had the most FABULOUS wedding ever {lol} – it was a big, fat Irish and Italian shin dig that I remember fondly to this day.  And isn’t that exactly what we all hope for? 

Since I’m a planner and coordinator with hundreds of weddings to my credit, I really enjoy sharing my experience and expertise with couples.  I also enjoy learning from my couples (they never cease to amaze me with incredible finds!)  What I find shocking is just how much bad information is floating around on the internet!  That’s where I hope to be of assistance.  Whenever possible, I’m happy to weigh-in on issues like “Plated vs. Buffet”, ”Assigned Seating vs. Open Seating”, “Must we feed the Vendors?”, etc.  I would love to have my Weddzilla posts center on questions… I think Ask the Countess has a nice ring to it and I’d like to encourage Weddzilla readers to ask away!
