In a previous post, we discussed who gets a corsage at your wedding. Now I’d like to discuss the different types of corsages. Essentially, there are three types: pin on, wrist and magnet backed.

The ribbon and plastic that is used to hold the flowers can be removed, leaving you with a tasteful cuff bracelet after the wedding.
Pin on corsages have been the traditional type of corsage for many years. Wrist corsages were left for young girls and proms. However, there have been major strides made in wrist corsage elements and design capabilities in recent years. No longer do you have to wear what looks like a hospital bracelet for a wrist corsage (elastic band).
You can now get “wristlets” that look like jewelry. All kinds of jewelry! My favorite has been a pearl bracelet that comes in white, ivory, black and silver. I’ve now seen the same pearl bracelets in other colors,as well. You can also get a wristlet that is made out of rhinestones, and the latest wristlets are like bangle bracelets and cuff bracelets. Below are some pictures of just a few of these new wristlet designs.

Today's wristlets look like a piece of jewelry and can be worn without the flowers attached, as a momento from your wedding.
The wristlets shown here all come from Fitz Designs and are available from many local wholesale floral supply companies. What do you think? Would you wear a wristlet in one of these styles?

These are such great tips! I love wristlets, and the new jewelry-esque styles are beautiful!
