I love this trend a lot! Chalkboard signs can be used in so many different ways, fitting perfectly with different themes and styles. Like you, I’ve seen them used at vintage weddings, at school-themed weddings between two teachers, and at surf-themed beach weddings.

I love the chalkboards! I’m going to make bathroom sign chalkboards out of picture frames sans glass. I’m just painting the backing and replacing it in the frame once the chalkboard paint is dry. I’m hanging them on ribbons to indicate which bathroom is which. A sitting bunny silhouette in chalk for the ladies’ room and a standing bunny for the men’s!
