Celebrities love their pets, too, and that means including them in their weddings. Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton loved their two dogs so much that they had them walk down the aisle as bridesmaids! The couple wed at the Don Strange Ranch in Texas, and part of the reason they chose that location was because the dogs could be a part of their special day! As reported by People, Kathy Best, Lambert’s wedding planner, remarked that, “Miranda wanted a place where everybody would be comfortable, would have a great time, just feel at home and her dogs could be part of it.”
Three of Lambert and Shelton’s dogs participated in the ceremony. The girls – Cher the Chihuahua, Delta the Chihuahua-pug mix, and Delilah the terrier mix – walked down the aisle with the eighth bridesmaid! They were escorted down the aisle as Shelton sang a song he wrote for Miranda. The eighth bridesmaid was picked on purpose to walk to her “girls.” Lambert’s mom said, “They were tiny little representatives, but they got a lot of laughs and attention. They were right in the big middle of everything!”
The dogs wore their own special wedding accessories, which included bandannas, flowers and rhinestone collars and leashes, which were made of brown leather and were decorated with rhinestones.
After the ceremony concluded, the dogs once again walked the aisle, this time with Lambert’s parents!

Aw, that is so cute! I think it depends upon the personalities of the pets in terms of whether they should be included. Some pets are scared or too wild around people, and some people are afraid of dogs. It sounds like they had their dogs well-controlled, so that’s a huge help!
