I have shared photos of my dress before, but today marks the first time that I share photos of me in it.  Jeffy, in case you happen to be perusing the blog today, I know you don’t want to ruin the surprise so I suggest you stop reading.  Love ya!

On Wednesday after work, Leia and I went back to Remziye Perkin’s for my second fitting.  My first fitting was way back in February, and I admit that I was a little worried that I might not fit into the dress because I have been pretty lax about my diet recently.  I almost screamed when I pulled the dress on and it was actually loose on me!
Alright, no more talking:

Contemplating the ribbon bustle (and lovin’ that French bustle):

Weird face / simultaneous front and back view (well done, Leia!):

Sigh.  Every time I put the dress on, I never want to take it off.  I loved the dress when I first bought it, but putting it on after it had been taken in made me really feel like this is truly MY dress.  I seriously cannot wait to be a bride!

We are meeting with Remziye again in one month.  She’s going to take it in even more (I even sucked in while she and Leia both pinned it because I would rather it be too tight than too loose), and finish the bustles on the skirt and the bow.  After the next fitting, alterations should be finished and the dress will be sent to the cleaners before the drive to DC!  Eep!

What stage are you in with your dress?  Did you feel like your dress was made just for you too?
