I Think I Might…

..become a wedding planner.

I know many brides say this during and after planning their wedding, and I’m going to be a typical bride.

Why?

Because I just got a taste of what planning could be like.

One of my coworkers is engaged and knows that I am too. She’s Indian and has been asking for advice about American weddings and Destination weddings. Helping her figure out what she wants has made me realize that I love weddings and helping people. Becoming a planner is a wonderful combination of these two things.

I have talked it over with the fiance multiple times, and he is all for it. He’s constantly pushing me [lightly] to do my best and achieve my dreams. [Funny how I never realized that until just now, huh?]

So, here’s to possibly joining the masses in the wedding world as a wedding planner!

I've thought about it as well. I've found that I really do have a passion for planning and not just my own. That being said, i've assisted in planning and coordinating a few weddings this year and it has only reaffirmed that it is something I love to do. Planning and coordinating can be really fulfilling – so i see now why so many people are drawn to it I say go for it… gotta follow your passion!
