Thankfully, Old Dude also has a one syllable last name like I do. Therefore, “if” {I totally haven’t decided} I do change my last name, my full name will still have its warm and familiar cadence when spoken. What’s funny is that our last names sound very similar, so my hyphenating it will just sound like I’m saying my last name twice!
