Hi! We are Jill Cohen and Lauren Mintz, the girls behind the
Bridelines blog. We are both so excited to be featured bloggers. We
are honest, opinionated and witty (or so we think). We have been best
friends since we were 9 years old. We both live in New York City.
Lauren with her husband and Jill with her boyfriend. Together, we have
served as bridesmaids in many weddings and have worn many less than
flattering bridesmaid dresses.

As the type of friends who routinely serve as probono shrinks, we are
always advising our friends, listening to their problems and giving
them our honest opinions. Knowing how crazy brides can get, we
realized that blogging about what the wedding process feels like from
a bridesmaid’s point of view would not only be fun, but helpful and
informative to all people involved in the process. With our advice,
we hope to minimize the number of bridezillas and help to preserve
happy friendships after the ‘I do’s’.

Well, it’s time for the rehearsal dinner speeches, pink taffeta
dresses and games of bridal bingo at showers. We are excited to be
sharing your wedding with you and hope to share some tips to make this
process easier, less financially stressful and more fun for your and
all your favorite girls.
