Hellllo to the fabulous Weddzilla world!

First off I’d like to share how thrilled I am to be apart of an amazing community such as this Weddzilla. I have been dreaming of becoming a featured blogger for quite some time and now that the opportunity is finally here, I can’t wait to share all of my wedding experiences with you =)

But before I start raving about all my DIY projects, shopping, my crazy Youtube videos, I’d like to rewind the hands of time 16 years ago…

The first time I laid eyes on Ramon was at the age of 10. I was in the 4th grade and he was in the 5th. I thought he was the hottest man (little boy) around and he thought I was the ugly duckling who wore “big” frizzy hair. I always looked his way while he looked the other way. Soon enough, I accepted the fact and allowed him to move on. hahaha. 11 years later we reunited in high school. We met eyes and once again the sparks were in full effect and to my surprise the sparks went both ways. HE WAS FINALLY INTERESTED!!! HA! We wasted no time and started dating. His high school graduation dates our official anniversary.

On Christmas Eve, 7 1/2 years later, Ramon had proposed to me on the front porch of our church. It was so romantic. I remember telling a few years back that my dream proposal would be in front of my whole entire family on Christmas day, but he decided otherwise and proposed in a more intimate setting. Now when I look back on that magical night, I wouldn’t trade that moment for the anything in the world. Just the two of us on God’s front porch. PRICELESS! {Good job babe!}

Okay, enough about the mushy stuff and more about wedding stuff! Here, I will chronicle my life, my journey and all my wedding bliss experiences to the alter. To catch up on the year and a half that I’ve been blogging about my wedding, check out my very own blog, Eat, Drink and Get Married. So here it is, raw and uncut, all of me, one post at a time. Join me in this crazy and exciting chapter in my life where I unravel how this girl becomes a woman… a married woman.

Xoxo,

Jaryce
