Hey y’all! My name is Ebonee Monique and I’m an author(ess), dreaming, bride-to-be. I’ve dated my *fiance*, Mister Mr., for 3 years.

Much to my surprise, Mister Mr. popped the question, October 2008, during my family get-together in Gatlinburg. My parents, friends and even people I didn’t even know (as it turns out) knew. He had the ring for at least 6 months and has asked my parents 2 months before actually popping the question.

We have decided to get married in Tallahassee, FL on March 5, 2010. Yep, I’m a Friday bride! Our “Southern Comfort” themed wedding will be a classy, budget wedding, with the ceremony taking place under a beautiful oak tree.

I’ve blogging been as a means of venting during this process, learning from others and, most of all, allowing both of our families the opportunity to feel as though they were with us throughout it all!
