Posted by WeddzillaAccomplished!
Let me preface this post. Video was not super important to me. I would rather have pictures than videos because I think you look at pics way more than watch videos! Ya hear me? Anywhooooooo, I still wanted a videographer for the stuff that you actually will want to watch more than once (and by that I mean twice). The ceremony and all of the fabulous toasts during the reception (Russian wedding = LOTS of toasts! And not just regular toasts .. songs, skits, performance art … potentially anything goes!).
Bottom line: I wanted a simple video package. One videographer just for the wedding (none of the prep stuff) and I wanted it cheap but great! You know the usual impossible demands … well not exactly impossible. Because I found Tom Morgan of City Videographer.
So in the end we got .. 1 cameraman, 7 hours of coverage, in HD, 3 dvds, all the raw footage, and web-ready clips, including a highlight reel, so that I can share it all with you! All this, for under a grand, and I mean a couple hundred under a grand! For serious.
Wanna check out the goods?? Go on, take a peak …

I definitely wanted the same thing… raw footage is important to me…i'll edit later when i want to play with the wedding stuff again…
I went with a great package, decent editing… it was the best choice for us!

Oh yea! Congrats on the deal – good find! I am all about the videographer…as much as I know how important the photog is to me, the video is just as if not more important! We got a great deal on our package as well…but we booked 10 hours of coverage and most of the same you have. Our video guy said that April is a slow wedding month so he may surprise us and show up with an extra cameraman and/or cameras
(Many prayers going out)
