Blogger: WeddzillaThe Dress That Got Away
Posted by WeddzillaI loved dress shopping, I really did. I was lucky enough to find several options that I loved and loved me back. One such dress was this one, by Jasmine:
This was one of my faves. Not the one I ultimately selected, but I still love the dress and it was a very close #2 choice. The lace on the skirt is gorgeous and dramatic and swoon-worthy.
When one of my coworkers recently got engaged, I was adament that she HAD TO go to the same bridal shop that I did. The service is fab, the people are great, and the selection is impressive. Gotta love a family-owned and operated store, you know? She took my advice and did one better: she found a dress.
Her dress just so happens to be That Dress! She had shown me at first to make sure it wasn’t my dress (can’t have the same one you know.) and when I opened up the link, I just started laughing. What a small world, even in a city the size of St Louis. She will be adding cathedral-appropriate cap-sleeves that match the lace skirt, which I think is a beautiful touch. And I am so happy that the dress found a happy home. She has great taste, at the very least!
Have you seen any dresses you almost bought on friends or blogs?

Isn't it hilarious how things like that happen??? That will be so fun to see her enjoy the dress!
