I know I previously mentioned that we got lucky and won a gift certificate to Perfect Image Photography. They’re a married couple who takes a passion in photography. I absolutely love their work and the style that they take of the wedding/couples sessions. I can’t wait to do use the gift certificate we won!

At first I was totally confused as to what to use it for since we have FH’s uncle as our photographer.*I really didn’t budget for much after we had the photographer chosen so I didn’t have room to get another photographer. We already have our engagement session photographer chosen, although we need to hook up with her and get pictures.




Then I had a light bulb go off and I knew what I wanted**, an after-wedding shoot! Now, I know I want to trash the dress, which it might turn into yet, but that’s not what it is. We want to take some more fun shots around home, either in the city or at the farm we’re not sure yet. We want our dog in our pictures with us and really we just want time to screw around and be silly.

We aren’t going to have that much time the day of the wedding, add to the fact we’re just going to take pictures on and around the acreage, I hope to get some silly shots with our after-wedding shoot. I’m still getting back in my dress, Tj will put on some nicer clothes, definitely not his tux though, and we’ll have a super fun awesome time!

Seems simple enough, it’s like having an endless amount of time to take stupid and silly wedding pictures. I think it will be a whole bunch of fun! I can’t wait!

*Please don’t freak out. FH’s Uncle was a professional photographer for like 10 years or something, he takes all the family photos and they all look GREAT. He’s not just a nobody thrown a camera, I’ve gotten so much jabber about this I just want to punch someone. He’ll take good pictures, I am not worried. And I will save thousands because of it! And come on, it’s free! =)
