Okay, Okay. I promised & told you I would deliver…so here is the brief recap from my bridal shower weekend (#1). I don’t think words-or even pictures for that matter-can sum up how much {friggin} fun I had, but I’ll try.
{Warning: This is a PICTURE-HEAVY post!}

When I arrived to my hotel on Friday evening, I suspected my bridal party was up to something. I could just ::feel:: it in my bones! Well, as soon as I got to the room my suspicions were confirmed. In the middle of the bed I found a gorgeously gorgeous wrapped basket. I squealed as soon as I saw the candy…then my eyes darted and I saw WINE! (Squeal x2). They had Victoria Secret bath stuff, candy, wine, a sexy pajama set and a card!

As you can see, it didn’t dawn on me to take a picture until AFTER I popped open the wine & candy! :)

I LOVE boy shorts. I even asked my girls if it was okay if I wore my shirt out. Sadly, they told me no. :(

Mommy & I got rest that night & prepared for the busy day ahead of us. Okay, the funny thing? I thought I’d packed a pair of black heels to go with my shower dress…yeah, no dice. I completely left them sitting at my home-4 hours away. Great! So mommy & I had to run all around Atlanta the morning of the shower in search of some cute-and affordable-shoes. Luckily Nine West (!) was having a super-duper sale and I scored some hawt black shoes! That being said, we were a :tad: bit late to the shower & I hate being late anywhere…so I was a little peeved at myself! :(

I have no idea why I was looking like this. Someone probably told me to re-enter so they could get a better picture. Eh…lol!

Much, much better, right?

As soon as we entered my eyes went to all the amazing details. Seriously, my girls out-did themselves.

Yummy, yummy cupcakes made by the incredible Mea. There were NO cupcakes left.

I didn’t realize it until someone pointed it out that Mister Mr. & I were on the M&Ms, which were sitting in glasses on the tables. Wowzers! It was our e-pic on the candy! I was so tickled!

We started by playing a few games, one of which was a crossword puzzle about me. It was hilarious!

Could you believe my MOMMY had a hard time answering questions about her only daughter? Ugh. lol.

After we went through the answers for the crossword puzzle & handed the winners prizes (shout out to BM Lynette for her teachers pet mentality during the game!).

I was so geeked to open presents. I think it was an apparent feeling that I’m a lush.
::shrugs shoulders:: :)
Not sure what was funny…but man, it WAS funny, right?

Is that a Tiffany & Co. bag, I spot?

Oh. Em. Gee. It is!

Toasting champagne flutes! Yay! I had to do the ::ding:: test.

We blessed the food, courtesy of FMIL (in red).

Let me take a minute and tell y’all how DELICIOUS the food was. Spinach & Artichoke dip in a bread bowl, some kind of pastry dish, pasta salad, fruit & veggie tray, Cajun chicken wings and bread! Oh…soooo….good! :)

Me & Mommy

I told y’all those cupcakes were delish, right? No shame.

Handing thank you gifts out to my bridal party/hostesses! My gifts to them were super easy & DIY. I knew how much hard work all of them had put into the shower & I wanted to make sure they knew it was all appreciated.

BM JaNay liked hers!
It was bath salts in a mini mason jar with the saying:
“I hope your next shower is as great as mine was, Love Ebonee.”

Same Day, different cupcake. Don’t judge me.

“Fall in line girl scouts!”
The Bride & her Bridal party (minus 2).

Our bachelorette night out was a riot. Car chases & races & lots of dancing!
But before we could leave the hotel for a night out, my girls surprised me with a bachelorette cake. OMG! Isn’t it gorgeous? Seriously, this was soooo pretty & it tasted like heaven!
My BM JaNay was nervous about giving her risque gifts during the shower so she gave them to me right before the bachelorette outing. Lol.
My facial expression is PRICELESS.

MOH Tasha gave me a turquoise & black nighty that I love!

On our way out!

My favorite picture of the evening!
There are SOOOO many more bachelorette pictures but…ehem…I am NOT about to post them! What happens in Atlanta….well, you get the idea! :)

Sunday we all went to Gladys Knights Chicken & Waffles and loaded up on good food before heading back home! I had SUCH a great time and couldn’t even explain how much each of them being there meant. I felt loved completely.
Hope you enjoyed the BRIEF recap of the weekend!
