Posted by WeddzillaNo, we’re not talking Cold Stone Creamery portion sizing, we’re talking registries! As you may recall, I was absolutely thrilled about registering at a couple of our favorite stores. We’ve registered for some truly fabulous items that I’m excited to get. (I know, I sound insanely greedy, but I can’t help it – it’s like a super-sized Christmas for our new pad!) However, I can’t help but worry that we’ve registered for too many items, meaning we won’t get the ones we really really wanted. Let me explain…
I really like this oil/vinegar cruet…
but could really use this oven thermometer…
And it would be totally rockin’ to get these corn dishes…
but I would just die if we didn’t get these soup bowls…
And surely it would be helpful to have this tortilla warmer…

but my baking skills would be dramatically increased with the addition of this food scale…
I know I’m being a little dramatic, but the point is that there are definite “A” list and “B” list items on our registries.
So do I elimate some of the B list items for the time being until the A list items are purchased?
No, I’d like to give our guests as many options as possible.Do I return B list items to get the A listers after the wedding?
Maybe, but I’d feel guilty if someone asked how we were
enjoying their gift and we had already returned it.
At this point, I’m not going to do anything. If we don’t get all of the “A” list items after the wedding, we’ll just purchase them ourselves. Besides, I shouldn’t be sooo greedy. I mean, we registered for each item on our list for a reason,. We’ll be getting them for free. Our guests will have put a lot of thought into their choices. I guess I just am worried that my “A” list items will slip away before we get them, and then I’ll be really disappointed.
So, am I the only one freaking out about the registry?
