Blogger: WeddzillaDay of Wedding Fears
Posted by WeddzillaSorry I have been MIA for a while. I got hit with a bunch of “To Do” items. Which is good because it means we are coming that much closer to the big day.
Today’s post is about wedding fears. Particularly day of fears, those are the really scary ones because there is little or nothing you can do about them. We’ve all got ‘em. These are mine…
1. For me or Groomie to be late.
2. I get a zit a day before or day off the wedding (I break out when I’m stressed).
3. Photographer or DJ will be late (would throw the whole sequence of things off).
4. No one dances (to me would indicate they are not having fun).
5. Hair doesn’t come out right or falls flat.

6. Rip or tear in my dress or one of my bridesmaid’s dresses.
7. The always dreaded rain cloud. Our wedding is going to be outdoors and although we do have a back-up plan, we picked our wedding venue because of their beautiful outdoor spaces. So that would be a wash (no pun intended)
8. I’ve accepted the fact that I’m going to cry at some point during the ceremony. I just really want it to be a pretty cry instead of a blubbering mess of swollenness and running mascara.

9. Bakery delivers the cake and it’s lopsided.
10. Someone has a bit too much to drink and acts belligerent (not my biggest fear but it could happen).

sadly, these are all my fears too and i have 11 months to go!
my friend who recently got married described a "moment of zen" when the fears melted away and she just focused on walking down that aisle because there wasn't anything she could do that point but smile pretty and meet the man she loved at the alter!
it will ALL work out, fears and all, my best to you!!!

Would it help if you had cried BEFORE your makeup was ever applied? Sometimes if I've already cried during the day, I get just small tears instead of the ugly cry face.
