The checklist is still overflowing with tons of to-do’s….but one thing that can be checked off:
OUR WEDDING BANDS!!!
We ordered them on the 5th and they came in on the 12th. When I say “they”, I mean Mr. Nearlywed’s bands. Yes, he ordered two. One for the ring exchange, the one that is his formal, good band. And one for his recreational time, like snowboarding and hiking. However, we came across an issue- they are too big. The Mr. has long, skinny fingers. My size 6 doesn’t fit him but his size 7 doesn’t fit well either. I am sure that as we age, grow, swell, all will be a-ok…but for now, he isn’t very excited over the rings since they don’t really fit. What to do? What to do?
As I think about the rings, I am also challenged with engraving. Yes, we do have little silly isms that are just “us”, but they change constantly. He did use an ism in my proposal letter so that may be the winner. But readers, what are YOU having engraved into hubby’s band??

Your ring is making me swooooon!
I have an ism that I am going to put on his ring as a surprise... it's a mash of of two words that we came up with on our second date, we don't say it often since it's more of just a random noun, but it reminds us of that exciting, just-met-and-are-crushin'-hard feeling!
