Age Old Debate: Take His Name? Hyphenate? Or How about THIS?

Thankfully, Old Dude also has a one syllable last name like I do. Therefore, "if" {I totally haven't decided} I do change my last name, my full name will still have its warm and familiar cadence when spoken. What's funny is that our last names sound very similar, so my hyphenating it will just sound like I'm saying my last name twice!

What's a modern couple to do?
Check out this story about couples who have decided to go a slightly different direction.

What do you think? Does your guy feel strongly about you taking his last name?

I took my husband's last name. It has been a total pain in the ass to change it.

It's two syllables and my maiden name was one. That's hard getting used to.

Happy to do it though. I think hyphenating is just dumb, but that's me.
