I wish I could tell you that I have been dreaming about my wedding day my entire life, but the truth is, I haven't. When I was 5 years old, instead of envisioning my fairy tale wedding, I imagined winning my first large class action suit. Instead of having Barbie and Ken get married, I pretended that they were opposing counsel ripping each other to shreds in Judge Skipper's courtroom. I'm sure you get the picture, but needless to say, I was not your average little girl. And now here I am, 20 years later (I'm 25 now), planning my very own destination wedding to the white knight (and his dog) who showed up when I least expected it, totally swept me off my feet, and completely changed my entire way of thinking…

Hey there! I'm Kristin and I'm thrilled to announce that I am the new Featured Bride Blogger here at Weddzilla! My friends call me Miss-Kriss, but you can call me whatever you'd like! (Nice to meet you.)

There's never a dull moment in my life. Over the course of a single week in May 2009, I graduated from law school, became engaged to my best friend, and moved to a brand new city. (I still think that someone should've called VH1 because it was seriously the best week ever!) Now, I find myself adjusting to my new life in Nashville, anxiously awaiting my Bar results, and, of course, planning our May 2010 wedding on Grand Cayman, BWI.

I am so excited to have the opportunity to share all of my thoughts, fears, questions, etc. about wedding planning with you guys over the next seven months. I welcome feedback, suggestions, comments, and yes, even criticism. But before we get started, I should warn you… I'm neurotic and obsessive. I'm sarcastic and self deprecating. I use the word "fabulous" far more than any human being should, and sometimes I make up my own words. If you can get past all of that, then I am sure we can be fabulous…umm…I mean "great"…friends!
