I am from Tennessee but do not consider myself truly Southern. My parents are from Pennsylvania and California...kind of makes it hard to be raised Southern, doesn't it? My Mr. Right is from New York but not the city; he's from the western part and grew up in small town. (Seriously. He saw a car drive by and told me exactly who it was and how he knew them. Pretty crazy, right?) We've been together for a year and half and are truly the definition of "opposites attract." He's the late night, go out drinking type, and I'm the curl up with a good book, go to bed around 9pm type. But, we love each other and that's what matters!!
I have started blogging about my wedding for two reasons. One, I love all things wedding, as most girls do. I told my mother at the tender age of 5 that I was going to marry my father at the age of twenty. Why? I do not know but I vividly remember telling her such things. Recently, my sister got married (apparently, the wedding bug has bitten my family) and I saw her plan it in...oh, you know...three months. Not me, I say. I will take my time and debate all things to their perfection (because that's what I do.) And, two, I wanted to keep all my ideas and thoughts in one place. Really, I was just getting tired of writing them all down on paper and trying to keep up with all the random sheets of paper. (I tend to be forgetful.) I started keeping my own personal blog {Sassy Bride on a Mission} a little over a month ago, and it has been super helpful!!
I'm really excited to be a part of the Weddzilla community and to share all my ideas with you guys! I hope you have as much fun reading my antics as I do thinking/writing them up. :) Look forward to whirlwind adventure because I'm totally random and always jumping from one thought to another!
