Something Borrowed, Something...New?

Accessorizing your wedding gown can be a very difficult and pricey process. It seems silly that you should purchase an expensive jewelry ensemble that you will most likely only wear once.

Instead of spending loads of money on these things, why not borrow them..for free?!
One website brings a whole new meaning to the wedding tradition of wearing "something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue."
www.borrowedbling.com allows you to borrow the finest jewels for a monthly fee, and return them after a few days or even months. You also have the option of purchasing the items if you decide they are really worth the money. There are items on the site that are brand new, as well as ones that may have been borrowed by other customers previously.
Need more than just jewelry? BorrowedBling has got you covered; some other items available include evening bags, sunglasses, flip flops, and much more!
So, go ahead- allow yourself to wear that beautiful bling on your wedding day- and imagine how great it will feel to not have that extra thousand some-odd dollars on your credit card bill!

Make your Favors the Ones to Beat!

Have you ever gone to a wedding where the favor was something so frilly and so monstrous looking that you didn’t even know if you were supposed to eat it, look at it or use it for something? Other wedding gifts are so dull and boring that you don’t even bother to look at them a second after the reception is over. However a new trend in wedding favors is trying to change that. Many brides and grooms are choosing practical wedding favors, hoping that guests will use these tokens of appreciation in the future while thinking of the very special couple.

The way to go nowadays seems to be kitchen and office supplies and trying to incorporate the bride and groom’s initials and or the wedding’s date. Here are just a few ideas that seem to be very popular: measuring spoons, cookie cutters, teapots, cupcake mix, salt and pepper shakes, notepad and pen set, mouse pads, and more! So each time your wedding guests use and apply these gifts, hopefully you will be able to think of that very special bride and groom in your life as well as their special day!

To Be or Not to Be? Color My Gown.

The beloved wedding dress is one item when planning your big day that you wouldn't mind sparing an expense on. As you go to your various bridal boutiques you'll be swamped with hundreds of gowns in white and ivory with fitted waists, mermaid tails, long trains and intricate beadings. Just imagine this for a moment, out of all those dresses the one that caught your eye was an elegant yellow gown. This is the trend that has been dominating wedding seasons over the past few years and this season is no exception.

Colored gowns are the best representations for modern brides; they offer a unique insight to the bride’s personality. Colors can range from the brightest of pinks to the jolliest of greens. Brides on that special day want to truly stand out and what better way to do so than to be standing amongst a sea of loved ones at a reception in a shiny red wedding gown. For the bride who wants to be daring but not so extreme a white wedding gown with accents can be personalized to fit your ideal. You can find these gowns in wedding stores or special websites all over, and with all the creativity you put into your dress who knows what trend you may start for the next season!

The Latest Celebrity Wedding Trend?

As if one ridiculously expensive wedding wasn't enough - how bout 1 every year? News of Mariah Carey and Nick Cannons whirlwind relationship and wedding recently broke and now Stuff.co.nz is reporting that the couple wants to up the ante on celebrity excess by doing it all again...annually!

This trend seems like a logical next step for many A list celebs with way too many friends for just one guest list. I mean - why only have a wedding at one castle in France when there are plenty of other perfectly good castles around Europe?

Could this new trend could be the next Hollywood craze? Maybe instead of tying the knot every few years to different people to stay in the news - we can expect a new save the date card each year! Imagine the money celebs could make by selling their pictures of 2nd, 3rd, 4th...15th wedding to the Gossip mags!

Well, we here at Weddzilla love the idea - I mean why not get married every year? Talk about a way to simplify the planning of your wedding - now you can send out a save the date to everyone you know...just make sure to put the year they are invited in BOLD letters!

So Soon? Preggo?

Pete Wentz & Ashlee Simpson are reportedly tying the knot this weekend at her parents house in Encino, CA.

Why such a short engagement?

Maybe a bun in the oven?? They have repeatedly denied any reports of a pregnancy but this rush to get married leaves you wondering....

If you were lucky enough to get an invite make sure you are dressed in dark colors as it looks like it may be a goth style wedding!

Whatever the reason for the rush to the alter...Congrats!
