Taking the name of your husband is so yesterday. A new poll taken by the knot said that 12% of women who are getting married DO NOT plan on taking the name of their partner. This new trend could be the mark of feminism, the liking of their last name, or just not willing to give up their last name. The new thing is to blend your name or hyphenate it i.e Kelly gold-first or goldenfirst. This way you can incorporate both names in the wedding process.
I actually am a bit old fashioned as I am taking my new husbands last name!
